Jesus Christ is the Head and Cornerstone of the church. He came to restore man's broken relationship with God. His finished work on the cross made that possible. (I Cor. 3:11; Eph. 2:20; Rom. 5:6-10)

The Bible is the inspired, infallible word of God and is relevant and applicable to man today. Therefore we place great emphasis upon teaching it in public, studying it in private, and using it as a guide for our daily lives. (I Tim. 4:13; II Tim. 3:16-17; I Thess. 2:13)

Worship We believe God is worthy of all praise, reverence and love. We take special time to worship Him in church through song. It is our goal to worship Him with our whole lives as well; at home, at work, and at play. (John 4:23; Col. 3:16; I Thess. 5:16-18)

Christian Growth As believers we are to be growing in our walk with the Lord. We encourage this by abiding in Jesus Christ through obedience to His Word, prayer, and fellowship, and by yielding our lives to the Holy Spirit. (Eph. 15:4; Rom. 8:29; Eph. 5:18)

Christian Service is a part of the Christian life and is the responsibility of all believers. Our goal is to develop the ministry of every member to use their gifts in love to the benefit of all for the glory of God. (Eph. 4:11-13; I Cor. 12:4-7)

Love is the greatest virtue and demonstration of the reality of Jesus Christ and the fullness of His Spirit in our lives. We endeavor to show a Christ-like love toward all men. Love should be exhibited in our lives by our words as well as our actions. (John 13:34-35; I Cor. 13:13)

Our Doctrinal Statement In More Detail

I. THE SCRIPTURES: We believe the Old and New Testaments to be plenary, verbally inspired by God, inerrant in the original writings, and the supreme and final authority in faith and life.

II. THE GODHEAD: We believe the Godhead eternally exists in the three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three Persons are one God having precisely the same nature, attributes, and perfections.

III. JESUS CHRIST: We believe in:
(a) His eternal existence as God.
(b) His incarnation by means of the Virgin Birth.
(c) His death on the cross as the substitutionary atonement for sin.
(d) His literal, bodily resurrection from the dead.
(e) His present ministry of intercession in heaven.
(f) His personal return to earth.

IV. THE HOLY SPIRIT: We believe the Holy Spirit, the third Person of the Godhead, convicts men of sin, regenerates, baptizes, indwells, seals, and sets apart believers unto a holy life; that He keeps and empowers believers day by day; that He is the Teacher of the Word of God and the Guide of our daily life.

V. MAN: We believe:
(a) Man was created innocent and pure.
(b) Adam fell through the sin of disobedience.
(c) Therefore, all men are corrupted in body, mind, and spirit.
(d) Therefore, all are in need of redemption.

VI. SALVATION: We believe:
(a) It is by grace, a free gift of God apart from works.
(b) It requires repentance-turning from your way to God's way.
(c) It is through personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
(d) All who receive Him are regenerated by the Holy Spirit and become God’s children.
(e) True salvation will be manifested by a changed life.

VII. THE FUTURE: We believe:
(a) In a pre-tribulation rapture of the Church.
(b) In the personal, visible, bodily, pre-millennial return of Jesus Christ to earth.
(c) In the bodily resurrection of the just to eternal abode in the glory of His presence.
(d) In the bodily resurrection of the unjust to judgment and everlasting conscious punishment in the Lake of Fire.
